Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Mosquera Rosado - Comunicación + Diversidad

Communication, diversity and inclusion specialist, activist and university professor. Bachelor's in Communications by Universidad de San Martín de Porres (Peru), a Master of Arts in Latin American and Caribbean Studies, a Master of Liberal Arts in Africana Studies by the University of South Florida, and holds a Certificate in Afro-Latin American Studies from the Afro-Latin American Research Institute at the Hutchins Center, Harvard University. Certified professional in Diversity and Inclusion in ISO: 30415 by the University of Georgia and Certified in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in the workplace by the University of South Florida. She is 2020 Fellow of the Programme for people of African descent at the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights of the United Nations, 2024 Fellow of the GCL Program of Georgetown University and 2024 Skoll fellow.

Throughout her professional career she has been a public servant and independent consultant specialized in issues related to ethno-cultural diversity, racial discrimination, intersectionality, inclusion and gender equality; and in the development of communication strategies with an intercultural approach. She is now the founder and CEO of Mosquera Rosado - Communication and Diversity, a consulting agency focused on developing policies, communication strategies and training spaces to foster diversity, equity and inclusion in organizations.

Her research areas include diversity, race, ethnicity and gender in media and public policy, human rights, inclusion and democracy, social inequalities, intersectionality studies and diversity, equity and inclusion. Her analysis is framed in the work of critical race theory, Black feminist theory and Media and culture theory. Her work has been presented in multiple conferences around the globe and her work has been published in Peru, Panama, Spain and the United States.

Member of the Executive Board of Makungu para el Desarrollo and La Morada, and vice-president of Afro-Latin/American Research Association (ALARA). Member of the Global Future Council on Sustainable Tourism of the World Economic Forum. TEDxTukuy Women 2020 speaker of the talk "The importance of intersectionality" and Host of Comité de Lectura’s podcast "Después de las doce".
