Degree in Foreign Trade, University of Economics, Bratislava. 1993, Founder, agrochemical holding Agrofert. Since 2012, has led the Movement ANO 2011; 2013, elected to the Parliament of the Czech Republic; 2013-17, as a member of the governing coalition, served as First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Finance; achieved a number of national tax reforms. Since December 2017, Prime Minister of the Czech Republic after the electoral successes of the ANO in the 2017 parliamentary elections. Main priority is the security of Czech citizens and security throughout Europe; advocates for increasing the budgets of both the intelligence services and the military so that they can effectively fight terrorism and illegal migration, and actively participate in the defence of Europe's external borders. Emphasizes the need for food and energy self-sufficiency, as well as fiscal stability. Stresses that an effective state is unconditionally linked to the extensive digitization of the state administration.
