Angel is a senior economist based in Spain (and sometimes in Colombia) with 25 years of experience at both private and public sector, specialized in economic growth, public policies and digital economy.

He is also a senior research advisor at Oxford University TIDE Centre and board member of CCLATAM think tank.
He was Vice-president for External and Regulatory Affairs at AT&T VRIO Latin America, Head for Latin America at the OECD Development Centre, Lead Specialist at the InterAmerican Development Bank, senior advisor at the Economic Office of the President of the Spanish Government and principal economist at the BBVA Financial Group.

He received his Ph.D. and B.A. in economics from the Universidad Complutense, Madrid (Spain).
