Anne Catherine Tchokonte is pursuing an international career in strategic sectors for Africa: Telecommunications, Fintech, Agriculture, Energy. She is currently the Managing Director of Airtel Madagascar, world leading telecom provider and a producer of Africa-inspired animated movie with bold heroines, girls can relate to.
Born and raised in Cameroon, she began her career in the nuclear industry in France. She later joined OCP, a global producer of phosphate and fertilizers, where she played a key role in expanding its African operations and leading projects across the agricultural value chain. Anne Catherine then moved to Orange Middle East and Africa, where she was appointed CEO of Orange Money Cameroon, a leading fintech provider that offers financial services to unbanked populations. Under her leadership, the business achieved strong sustainable growth and transitioned to a licensed payment institution. In February 2024, she was appointed Managing Director of Airtel Madagascar.
