Anne van Ysendyck is Vice President of ArcelorMittal and Head of Government Affairs and Environment. She has been in her current role since July 2021.
Anne is a member of ArcelorMittal’s Group Management Committee.
Anne joined ArcelorMittal in August 2005 as legal counsel for compliance, after working for the DG Competition of the European Commission and for several international law firms. In 2011, she was nominated vice president of ArcelorMittal and took the position of head of legal, risk & compliance for ArcelorMittal Mining, before becoming group general counsel & company secretary in 2016. She joined the International Olympic Committee as director of legal affairs in January 2018 and re-joined ArcelorMittal in September 2019, as vice president and Group Head of legal.
Anne holds a master’s degree in political science and law from the University Robert Schuman in Strasbourg, France, and is registered as a solicitor at the Law Society of England and Wales.
