Studies in Psychology and Photography, Stanford University. Believes in the power of images to shape consciousness. Has photographed iconic figures including Nelson Mandela, Mikhail Gorbachev, Muhammad Ali and Desmond Tutu. Author of the book DIGNITY: In Honor of the Rights of Indigenous Peoples; it and the associated museum exhibition, DIGNITY: TRIBES IN TRANSITION, have received international acclaim. 2011, DIGNITY presented at the United Nations, Geneva. Has produced award-winning advertising campaigns for Apple and Toyota with works held in museum collections.
