Devendra Fadnavis is a senior Leader of the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) and is the current Chief Minister (CM) of Maharashtra. This is his third term as CM, prior to this he was a CM from 2014- 2019. He was the second youngest CM of Maharashtra at the age of 44.

Devendra Fadnavis started his political journey very early at the age of 21 when he was elected to the city corporation. His work during those days was widely appreciated pushing him to become a Mayor at the age of 27, the youngest in the country. Since 1999, he has represented the Nagpur west and then Nagpur South West Assembly constituency and this is his 6th term. He was also the President of the BJP Maharashtra Unit from 2012-2014.

A lawyer by education with Diploma in Project Management from Berlin, Devendra Fadnavis is credited with the phenomenal growth that Maharashtra witnessed between 2014-2019. His vision for the state is focused on clean and good governance, expansion of state infrastructure and increasing ease of doing business in Maharashtra.
