Edith Kimani is a television news anchor with German international broadcaster, Deutsche Welle. She doubles as a field reporter traveling and covering a broad spectrum of issues across Africa. Previously, Edith worked as a news anchor and field reporter for the Kenya television network, travelling through all parts of Kenya filing human-interest stories. In her 6-year career at the standard Group, she covered major events such as the 2010 referendum, the 2013 presidential elections, The 2013 Westgate mall siege and the ICC trials against Kenya’s top leadership. She is a CNN journalism Fellow.
