Edlyn has worked for BP for over 20 years. Her current role is Head of Executive Office, Alternative Energy & Regions, based in London. Her prior role was President, China American Petrochemical Company, one of BP's Asian petrochemical joint ventures, and she was also BP’s Head of Country for Taiwan.
Throughout her career with BP, Edlyn has held a number of commercial leadership roles in strategy, marketing, finance, treasury, supply chain management and global optimization. She has also contributed to joint venture management as a board director of BP’s petrochemicals joint ventures in Asia.
Prior to joining BP, Edlyn was a senior commercial lawyer with Russell McVeagh in New Zealand.
Edlyn holds double Bachelors Degrees in Commerce and Law from the University of Auckland, New Zealand.
Edlyn is a champion for D&I and corporate social responsibility. She has deep cross-cultural experience through having lived in Taipei, Hong Kong, UK, New Zealand, US, Fiji, Australia, and China. She is a steering committee member of BP’s Women’s International Network. She has served as a board director of CAPCO Foundation (a charitable foundation with a mission to support education, culture, medical and environmental causes), a board director of the British Chamber of Commerce in Taipei and a member of the Chamber’s CSR committee, and a member of the American Chamber of Commerce in Taiwan.
