1994, degree in Biology and Environmental Studies, Oberlin College; 1999, MSc in Land Resources, and 2002, PhD in Limnology and Marine Resources, University of Wisconsin. 2002-05, Postdoctoral Fellow, Millennium Ecosystem Assessment Scenarios Working Group. Since 2005, Assistant Professor, McGill University. Current research focuses on: managing agricultural landscapes for multiple ecosystem services; human impact on the biogeochemical cycle of phosphorus through mining, trade, and agriculture; and interactions among ecosystem services, biodiversity and food production.
