Emma Inamutila Theofelus

Minister of Information and Communication Technology, Ministry of Information and Communication Technology of Namibia

I am a 24 year old black, young woman who is a lawyer by profession and an advocate for human rights by passion. I am passionate about children and women's rights and this is why I am a Champion of a GBV helpline launched by Lifeline/Childline Namibia and USAID. I love to learn and believe in lifelong learning this is why I go to training and workshops on about almost anything, however I try to prioritise the ones on Youth Development, the environment and Human Rights. I also volunteer at a youth centre called the KAYEC Trust and collaborate on activities that allow children to travel, or spend a day with women and girls in safe houses that are fleeing from violent relationships.
