Fabian Gil is the President of Dow Latin America since 2016 January. In
this role, he is
responsible for developing and
overseeing Dow's strategy for Brazil
and Latin America.
Gil joined Dow in 1992 as a sales
representative at Dow AgroSciences.
Three years later, he was appointed Marketing Specialist
in the herbicide portfolio for the
ConeSur.
In 2000, he moved to Indianapolis, in
the United States, to become
Market/Sales Leader for
the Americas. He has occupied
various global positions at Dow
AgroSciences until he was
appointed President of the Regional
Commercial Unit at Dow
AgroSciences in Brazil, in
September 2009. In 2011 he was
named Commercial VP of the
Packaging & Specialty Plastics
business in Latin America. Gil has graduated in Agricultural
Engineering in the University of
Buenos Aires, in 1987, and
received his master’s degree in
Business Administration from th e
Austral University of Buenos
Aires, in 1998.
