Francesco Mancini has 20+ years of professional experience in contributing to the delivery of public goods by governments and international institutions, whether it be public services, policy-making, or peace and security. He started his professional career in strategic and change management consulting, managing multi-million dollars projects with public companies and governments in France, Italy, and Morocco. Then, I moved into international organizations and think tanks in New York, working in the area of international security and peace mediation, primarily in the Middle East and West Africa. He has been living in Singapore since 2015, where he is Vice Dean of the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, National University of Singapore.
At the Lee Kuan Yew School of Public Policy, Francesco teaches graduate level courses on "Global Governance," "Conflict Analysis and Resolution," and runs the School's "Policy Innovation Lab." He also leads the School's professional development programs for government officials and corporate leaders, running over 90 programs a year in over 20 countries, including Southeast Asia, China, India, Central Asia, and the Middle East.
Francesco regularly lectures at conferences and appear as global affairs commentator on news outlets. He is a Non-resident Senior Adviser at the International Peace Institute (IPI), a member of the Research Committee of the Institute for Economics & Peace (IEP) in Sidney, Australia, and a member of the Editorial Board of the journals "Peacebuilding" and "International Politics."
