His Excellency, Mr. Hamed M. Fayez, is the Vice Minister of Culture in the Kingdom of Saudi
Arabia. He was appointed by royal decree on 27 July 2018. In his role as Vice Minister, his
responsibilities include contributing to strategy and operations, supporting the Ministry in its
mission to enrich lives across the Kingdom, and achieve the objectives of Vision 2030.
H.E. is the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Kingdom’s participation at International
Expo. He also serves as the Vice Chairman of the board of the 11 Cultural Commissions, Al-Balad
Development Co. and Boutique Collections (both are PIF portfolio entities). In addition to that, he
serves as the Chairman of 10 and Vice Chairman of 2 internal committees. H.E. sits on several
boards of directors including the Cultural Development Fund, Saudi Arabian Airlines Group, the
Saudi Falcon Club, the Saudi Authority for Intellectual Property, and Al-Ahsa Development
Authority.
