Jennifer Mattes is Director, Executive Engagement for Johnson Controls. In this role, she leads communication and corresponding channels that drive employee engagement, leader effectiveness and thought leadership for the enterprise. Her team is responsible for corporate communications, internal enterprise communications and corporate thought leadership engagements such as the World Economic Forum. Jennifer joined the company in 2007 and has held positions of increasing responsibility in Communications and Public Affairs. Most recently Jennifer served as Global Communications Director for the Power Solutions business. Jennifer started as Director, Global Public Affairs where she led corporate social responsibility (CSR) efforts.

Jennifer holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in International Business from St. Norbert College and an M.B.A from Marquette University. She is fluent in German.

Jennifer received the Business Journal of Greater Milwaukee’s Forty under 40 award in 2009. She was named to TriplePundit’s list of “35 Female CSR Leaders” in 2013.
