Linda Eddleman serves as the CEO of The Trust for the Americas, a not for profit organization affiliated with the Organization of American States (OAS) which was established in 1997 to promote private and public sector participation in projects that reflect the main goals of the OAS. In addition to managing The Trust’s local and international staff, she develops and implements the organization’s annual strategic plan and conducts fundraising activities.

To increase the visibility of the OAS and gain support for The Trust, Ms. Eddleman meets with senior government leaders throughout the hemisphere to discuss development priorities and seek support for local projects.

Prior to her work at the OAS, Ms. Eddleman served as a Deputy Assistant Secretary for Regional Economic Affairs as well as a Special Negotiator at the Department of State. Before joining the State Department, Ms. Eddleman was a Senior Trade Policy Advisor at the Treasury Department and before that a White House Fellow, serving as the special assistant to the Deputy U.S. Trade Representative. Ms. Eddleman graduated from Stanford Law School and did post graduate research with a Fulbright Scholarship in Barcelona. She is licensed to practice law in New York, the District of Columbia and California and is fluent in Spanish.
