Since 2009, President and CEO, International Crisis Group. Affiliated with: Global Commission on Elections, Democracy and Security; Global Commission on Drug Policy; Steering Board for the UK's Preventing Sexual Violence Initiative. Recipient of numerous awards and honours including: 41 honorary degrees; French Legion of Honour; Council of Europe's North South Prize; Franklin R. Roosevelt's Freedom from Fear Award; Companion of the Order of Canada; Grande Officière de l'Ordre national du Québec.
