In about 40 countries spread out across the globe.
• Identify and implement new business opportunities in the agricultural supply chain primarily as well as other sectors.
• Key contribution: Built Export Trading organically into a multinational physical agricultural commodities trading Company. Export Trading is today the largest trader of agricultural commodities in East, Central, Southern, Horn and West African countries by volume and commodity.
• Diversified the holdings of Export Trading to include not only agro-processing and farming but also hospitality, information technology, mining and infrastructure interests.

Accountant to Owner
• Initially employed as an accountant for the then Export Finance Company Limited thereafter involved in Administration, slowly progressing to Logistics and Marketing. At the time, Export Finance was involved in the trade of Kenyan manufactured goods to Sudan and Somalia. Managing the entire company towards the end of the 70s.
• Took over the company in 1982 from the owner, David Musselwhite.
• From 1989 onwards, focused the business on agricultural commodity trading in Kenya and slowly expanded into other countries from there.

• Responsible for the auditing and maintaining accounts for differently structured corporate entities in Kenya.
