Adopts an interdisciplinary approach to investigate the psychological and neural mechanisms by which signals from the eye are transformed into meaningful percepts by the brain in normal and brain-damaged individuals. One recent focus is on analysing large datasets from functional and structural imaging to elucidate the neural profiles of autism and other neurodevelopmental disorders.
