Her Excellency Maryam bint Ahmed Al Hammadi, Minister of State and Secretary General of the UAE Cabinet.
As Secretary General of the UAE Cabinet, H.E. Maryam Al Hammadi has been doubling efforts to further accelerate the General Secretariat’s work in supporting the Cabinet’s functions, including drafting federal laws; coordinating between several government authorities to update or issue legislation; outlining the annual general budget of the Federation; preparing the agenda for Cabinet’s meetings, and issuing regulations related to the organisation of public services.
H.E. Al Hammadi is coordinating the Federal Government’s efforts to draft and implement a yearly legislative plan, and follow up on its achieved impact. Within the legislative plan of the 2023, more than 73 federal legislations were accomplished in the financial, banking, educational, health, and government regulatory sectors, with more than 1500 specialists and 50 governmental teams taking part in implementing this plan. H.E. Al Hammadi believes that updated, flexible legislation ensures the UAE is always an attractive business environment for investors.
