Mike Ableson is General Motors' Vice President of Global Strategy. He leads a Strategy Organization team whose role is to look for opportunities to leverage GM’s technology advantage in the changing automotive industry and integrate across the business with a focus on Connected Vehicles, Urban Mobility, and Autonomous Vehicles.

Prior to this role, Mike was GM’s Vice President of Global Planning and Program Management. He first started with the company in 1984 and is a graduate of both the University of Michigan (Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering) and the University of California, Berkeley (Masters in Mechanical Engineering).
