Launched in 2012, M Klein and Company is a global strategic advisor to chief executive officers, boards of directors, governments and large institutional investors. The firm has rapidly developed into one of the leading advisory boutiques with a global presence through strategic relationships and advisors in London, Beijing and other important financial centers around the world.
Mr. Klein’s background in strategic advisory work was built during his 23-year career at Citi and its predecessors during which he initiated and executed hundreds of strategic advisory transactions. During his tenure Citi’s investment bank was built into a successful, respected global franchise, Mr. Klein was named CEO of all of Citi’s institutional clients businesses which had aggregate revenues of approximately $20 billion and had 65,000 employees.
Mr. Klein has served as Special Advisor to the World Food Programme of the United Nations, regarding food security and disaster recovery, for more than a decade. He serves on various boards and advisory boards including: Credit Suisse AG, United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF), Peterson Institute for International Economics, American Academy of Berlin, Conservation International, Mount Sinai, Akbank, Wharton, and Harvard’s Global Advisory Board.
He graduated from the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania.
