I am an Associate Professor of Law at the University of Oxford. My primary research interests are in international criminal law, general international law, and human rights law. I hold MA and DPhil degrees from the University of Oxford, where I was a Rhodes Scholar, and an LL.M. degree from Harvard Law School. I have also clerked at the Constitutional Court of South Africa and International Court of Justice, and worked as a lawyer in New York. I am interested in fiction, politics, and history.
