Muna Al Shidhani – Project Manager for “SAS Center” for 4th Industrial Revolution (4IR)-Ministry of Transportation, Communications and Information Technology (MTCIT).
Muna has more than 10 years’ experience in ICT projects in Oman. She worked on setting up a Virtual Reality Center in Oman since 2012. She was part of the strategy development team of enable youth and SMEs to created Virtual Reality solutions. Recently she established “SAS Center” for 4th Industrial Revolution one of the outputs of the National Program for Bracing the Economic Diversity (Tanfeedh).
Her focus is XR project management and leveraging XR to empower individuals, enrich businesses and enhance government services in Oman. She is also leading the execution of its all programmers and activities to create XR business opportunities for youth.
Some of her achievements in managing VR project/ program are trained 654 Omani Youth in XR intensive program and 409 in specific designer and programmer tracks. Also submitted 40 XR projects to different customers from the public and private sector. One of the interesting projects is converting the traditional Oil & Gas training program into a VR immersive training program for one of the biggest oil and gas companies in Oman. Through the center, she managed to support creating 6 SMEs working in the XR field.
Some of her international participation are in VR/ AR conference in Dubai in 2017 and Seedstars MENA summit in Manamah/Bahrain 2018. In addition to many other local activities.

Muna's has Master in Business Administration (MBA), Franklin University and Bachelor Degree in Telecommunication Engineering, Hight College of Technology.
