Research targeted towards energy materials. Technology transfer is a key component of his work. Pursues collaborations with industries. Involved in projects concerning macro defect-free cement, viscous processing of ceramics and the properties of perovskite ceramics, specifically high-temperature superconductors, which applications have been transferred to industry for cellular communications. Also developed microwave dielectrics, novel signal transformers, ferroelectric thin films and low-loss alumina.
