Moses Ngong is passionate about building community, especially across lines of race, class, and age difference.
After finishing undergrad at Centre College in 2018, Moses served as a volunteer with Peace Corps Mexico for two years before moving to Cleveland. He quickly fell in love with the city, working in the Community Development sector for two years, building relationships with grassroots actors and public officials. He now does community and political organizing, working to develop inclusive third spaces for communities to gather in. He is pursuing a Masters of Social Work at Case Western’s Mandel School, where he is a Mandel Fellow.
He is the curator of Global Shapers Cleveland, a member of the Northwest Neighborhood Board of Directors, a huge foodie, and a language enthusiast!
