Nick Moon is the Co-Founder and Director of KickStart. Nick holds an MBA, FRSA and has 34 years' experience in economic and enterprise development in Africa. Nick has recieved multiple awards for his work including: Beacon Prize for Outstanding Achievement in Social Enterprise (2003); Social Entrepreneur of the Year, Schwab Foundation (2003); European Hero, Time Magazine (2003); Inventions that Will Change the World, Newsweek (2003); Agfund Award, UN (2003); Product Design Award, Business Week (2004); Social Capitalist of the Year, Fast Company (2004-09); Lemelson-MIT Award for Sustainability (2008); Peter F Drucker Award (2008). Hi expertise is in agriculture, food security, climate change resilience, and water management. Nick is the Executive Chair, WANDA ORGANIC; Board Chair, ONGOZA for Youth (Kenya); 'Unreasonable' Mentor; and Board Member, Theatre Company (Kenya).
