BA (Hons) in Economics, Harvard College; completed graduate work in philosophy, Oxford University (Marshall Scholar). 1998, Co-Founder and Managing Partner, consulting firm Katzenbach Partners; 2009, Senior Partner, Booz & Company following the sale of Katzenbach to Booz in 2009; former member of the Management Committee, Bridgewater Associates. Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Incandescent, a firm engaged in strategic consulting to corporations, venture development, and large-scale social impact work. Founding Member, McKinsey Change Center. Member: Advisory Council, Acumen; Board, Purpose and Catchafire. Initiated and co-leads China 2024, a 20-year longitudinal study of the development of business leaders in China. Recent publications include “Beyond the Holacracy Hype”, Harvard Business Review. Named one of ten new gurus, Fortune magazine; featured as a rising star, Fortune 40 Under 40 (2009); named as one of the top twenty five in the consulting profession, Consulting Magazine (2010).
