Paul Klimos is a lawyer, a lecturer in law and an angel investor. In his legal practice, Paul assists founders in navigating the intricacies of entrepreneurship and emerging technologies, and investors in structuring and overseeing their investments. He is an advisor to various start-up accelerators, innovation centers and think thanks. Throughout his career, Paul worked at international law firms, at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York, and at the Central Bank of Lebanon where, alongside his core functions, he co-founded a legal research and intelligence unit designed to advise on the governance of FinTech and the drafting of laws and regulations. He is the author of various publications encompassing technology policy, law and regulation. Paul sits on the World Economic Forum's Global Future Council, and is a member of the forum’s expert network and global shapers community. He is a “40 under 40” awardee, and a BMW Foundation "Responsible Leader". He was invited to take part of the US State Department’s IVLP and of the European Union’s EUVP, both premier invite-only programs for foreign leaders.
