Rotem is a strategic thinker with a broad engineering and scientific background; she brings more than 20 years of experience in tech industry and non-profit sector.
Rotem is the CEO and co-founder of MindMatters, a global philanthropic foundation based in Geneva that bridges the gap between research phases and implementations of new treatments in youth mental health.
Prior to Mindmatters, she led the European activities of Israel Brain Technology (IBT), a non-profit foundation that develops NeuroTech solutions incorporating the latest progress in science, technology, and clinical trial design. Previously, Rotem held senior management roles in the telecommunication industry.
Rotem received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience and Electrical Engineering from École Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne (EPFL) Switzerland and obtained her M.Sc and B.Sc in Electrical Engineering from Tel Aviv University.
Rotem is a strong advocate for women in STEM; she participates in think-tanks and initiatives that promote that cause.
