Former Adjunct Professor, Graduate School of Information and Media Management (KSIM) and Graduate School of Culture Technology (GSCT), KAIST. Co-Founder and Chief Technology Officer, Iconlab; invented InterCode, which is 2D barcode optimized for mobile camera phone scanning and de-facto standard for Korean operators. 2006, founded Olaworks, worked as Chief Executive Officer and Chief Scientific Officer until Intel’s acquisition in 2012. Created ScanSearch in Olaworks, the mobile augmented reality service with over 2 million users; worked as Strategic Planner in PEG-IPG-ICG, Intel Corp after the acquisition until 2014. Currently, Partner and Chief Executive Officer, FuturePlay, which builds and invests in tech-centric start-ups innovating the post-smartphone ecosystem. Partner, Foundation X, a crypto accelerator supporting early-stage innovative ICOs around world.
