Salvador Biguria

Young Global Leader, World Economic Forum

Salvador is currently a Managing Partner at LXG Wealth Advisory, a Latin American multi-family office.

Previously he was a Managing Partner at IDC Group, an international investment management platform managing private equity, venture capital, real estate and other alternative investment funds. He led the leading the group’s Capital Markets, fixed income and private credit business.

Previously, he had a 17-year career with the Pantaleon Group, a leading sugar, ethanol and renewable energy producer in Latin America.

He holds a BSc in Chemical Engineering from MIT (1997), and an MBA from the Harvard Business School (2002). He has been appointed by the Supreme Electoral Court of Guatemala for to lead an Electoral Board multiple times (2003-2015). He is an Aspen Institute Fellow as part of their Central American Leadership Initiative (CALI). He has also been selected as a Young Global Leader (YGL) by the World Economic Forum (WEF). He is a member, and past VP, of the Board of Trustees of Fundacion para el Desarrollo de Guatemala (FUNDESA), the main private sector development and policy think-tank in Guatemala. He also currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Grupo Educativo del Valle, a leading private education group.
