Sebastian Vos is a Partner at FGS Global, based in Brussels, and Global Practice Lead Public Affairs.
Sebastian provides clients with strategic public affairs and communications advice on a range of competition, trade, transactional and sectoral issues and has particular expertise in the technology, life sciences, financial services, energy and transport sectors.
Over the past 20 years, Sebastian has advised the boards of multinational companies on a range of complex issues including geopolitical strategy, competition policy matters (such as Microsoft’s $68.7 billion acquisition of Activision Blizzard), and on climate issues, including as a member of the World Economic Forum’s Community of Climate Governance experts.
Before joining FGS Global, Sebastian spent 10 years as a Partner at international law firm Covington where he led the EU and Global Public Policy practices. Prior to that, Sebastian was a Partner at public affairs firm FIPRA International and worked at Freshfields, Goldman Sachs and the European Commission.
Sebastian studied law at Utrecht University and International Relations at Johns Hopkins SAIS in Washington DC where he was a Fulbright scholar.
