Sharif Abdelrazeq

Global Shaper, Amman Hub

Sharif Abdelrazeq serves as the Senior Director of Digital Development at Fresh Del Monte Group, leading the digitalization of the company’s agri-food operations across more than 80 countries. He pioneered the creation of the company’s first Corporate Venture Capital fund, mandated to invest over $10 million in startups innovating across the agri-food value chain. Sharif's vision extends beyond digital transformation to redefine the agri-food industry as a space of boundless opportunity and promote healthy living.

Amidst the adversity of COVID-19, Sharif co-founded his first social enterprise, Kaek Blady - a home-grown startup aiming to promote culinary cultural preservation and social equity. By serving customers across more than 25 countries with guilt-free, vegan sweets, Kaek Blady transformed from a passion project to an iconic fast-growing business with a monthly growth rate exceeding 15%, employing over 30 women from refugee camps across Jordan.

Prior to his tenure at Del Monte and Kaek Blady, Sharif worked in both the construction and energy sectors where he focused on advancing the digital and sustainable transformation of the companies he worked with.

Sharif is passionate about entrepreneurship, digital transformation, and climate action. He aspires to build sustainability and innovation centric civilizations through strategically employing technological solutions as a tool to unlock human capital, creating a tangible bridge between technology and social and environmental impact. Sharif is a Fellow and Board member at the Millennium Leadership Program Fellowship within the Atlantic Council. He holds an undergraduate degree in Civil Engineering from Virginia Tech and certificates from INSEAD and Harvard Business School.
