Shwetha Shetty

Senior Director, Corporate Strategy Group, SAP SE

Born in 1982, Shwetha Shetty holds an MBA from the Wharton Business School where she was an active member in Wharton’s Social Impact Club and helped organize events such as the Net Impact Conference. She grew up in Mumbai, India and has a Bachelor in Engineering from Mumbai University.

Prior to joining SAP, Shwetha spent over 5 years at McKinsey & Company where she worked primarily in the healthcare industry. Her work included addressing topics such as malaria, improving the quality of medical products in both the developed and developing world, and addressing UN Millennium Development Goals. She also led the creation of a mentorship program for women at McKinsey’s Business Technology Office.

Based out of SAPs New York office, her core responsibilities include leading SAP’s global strategy for Smart Cities and robotics; driving thought leadership on critical social and economic issues such as the impact of automation in the workplace; and leading startup engagement for SAP’s early stage fund/accelerator, SAP.io.
