I am a one of the youngest professors at the University of Tokyo. Developing new life science technologies which can be applied to various life science targets on the cellular and molecular level. Most striking achievement is the successful visualization of real time protein translation at the single molecule level.

During his global academic career including two postdoctoral experiences at Stanford University, he was a member of a research community composed of ~10 different countries under the supervision of Nobel laureate Dr. Steve Chu, former US secretary of Energy USA
