Surendra Patawari

Chairman, Geminicorp Recycling

Belgium based Mr. Surendra Patawari is founder and chairman of Gemini Corporation NV. Gemini is engaged in sourcing & distribution of recyclable & reprocessed plastics, paper, metal and rubber. It collects 1 Billion Pounds of recyclable plastics from over 400 locations in 24 countries for reprocessing at over 150 plants in 35 countries. With a team of 300 people it manages annually 1.7 million MT of recyclable materials from 33 offices in 25 countries.

Mr. Surendra is on the Board of Directors of the Alliance to End Plastic Waste together with the Global CEOs of Procter & Gamble, Dow, BASF, Lyondellbasell and ExxonMobil Chemical. The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India conferred 2015 CA Global Business Leader Award. Materials Recycling Association of India (MRAI) awarded him Global Recycler of the Year 2016. Mr. Surendra is an active contributor to European Parliament on policy making related to European recycling industry and a key speaker at various industry conferences e.g. ISRI, BIR, BVSE, ISWA etc. USA affiliate company was awarded with President’s “E” award for exporting and ensuring the recycling of waste.

To achieve his goal to share with society, he has adopted 11 Indian villages for their medical needs, built and operates two schools for 400 students and planted & maintaining over 100,000 trees.
