Thomas joined Itau BBA International plc (“IBBAInt”) in July 2012 as Managing Director and co-head of Investment Banking Europe. In December 2015, Thomas became the Head of the Corporate and Investment Banking operations in EMEA.

In February 2020, Thomas was appointed Chief Executive Officer and Executive member of the Board of Directors of IBBAInt and of Itau BBA Europe, bank’s Continental European bank (Portugal).

He is a member of the Board of Directors of B.I.I., IBBAInt’s fully own US subsidiary specialized in private banking.
Thomas has been nominated as a Partner of Itau Unibanco in September 2021.

Thomas started his banking career at Banque Paribas in 1995 in the Corporate Finance department, where until 1999, he executed several landmark M&A and financing transactions and specialized in public M&A.

In late 1999, Thomas joined UBS Investment Bank in its Investment Banking Division, participating in the origination and execution of corporate finance transactions for large corporations. In early 2008, Thomas was promoted to Managing Director and served as a primary coverage banker for a portfolio of leading European corporations. In early 2011, he moved to London as co-head of the Consumer Products & Retail team for EMEA within the Investment Banking Department, responsible for the Retail and Luxury sub-sectors.

Thomas is French, married with two children. He has been living in London for 10 years.
He holds a MSc in Finance & Economics from University Panthéon-Assas.
