April 2016, joined IIT Delhi as Director. Co-Founder, Nanosniff.com and Soilsens.com, deep technology start-ups at IIT Bombay that are developing products of relevance to society. Fellow: IEEE; Indian National Academy of Engineering; Indian Academy of Sciences; National Academy of Sciences; Indian National Science Academy. Author of more than 400 publications in the area of nano-scale devices and nanoelectronics in refereed international journals and conference proceedings; inventor on 38 patents and patent applications, including 13 issued US patents; 10 patents are also licensed to industries for commercialization. Work has been recognized with many awards and honours, including: Shanti Swarup Bhatnagar Prize in Engineering Sciences (2005); Infosys Prize (2013).
