Vishnu Menon is the co-founder & CEO of Wandertrails, a venture funded travel startup making experiential travel accessible to thousands of explorers across the world with handcrafted activities and a selection of experiential stays. He aims to develop over 300 destinations in India and showcase their culture and heritage to the world and create livelihoods for over 100,000 families by 2022.

Before Wandertrails, Vishnu worked with global management consulting firm, Bain & Co. for ~5 years where he led multiple teams across clients in areas of growth strategy, sales acceleration, performance improvement and private equity.

Prior to the same, he completed his MBA from Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIM C) and B.Tech from Kerala University.

Vishnu plans for Wandertrails.com to help digitally enable communities and create micro-entrepreneurs by enabling them to share their homes, share their passion and create immersive travel experiences for the new age discerning traveler – from staying in a tribal hut or jungle lodge or a homestay to going honey hunting with forest leaders, trekking with a tribal chieftain or going on heritage walks with a local. Wandertrails.com has created over 10,000 experiential trails in India since its founding in January 2016.
