Entrepreneur. 2000 joined MIT and established the Organic and Nanostructured Electronics laboratory; oversees a broad portfolio of efforts within the MIT School of Engineering that support innovation and entrepreneurship. Co-directs the MIT Innovation Initiative and is the faculty leading the design and construction of MIT's new nanofabrication, nanocharacterization, and prototyping facility; also co-directing the Eni-MIT Solar Frontiers Center. Founder: QD Vision; Kateeva; Ubiquitous Energy. Author of academic papers and 60 US patents. Research interests include studies of physical properties of organic and organic/inorganic nanocrystal composite thin films and structures, and development of novel nanostructured optoelectronic devices.
