Research interests lie at the intersection of management, marketing, and strategy. Particular interest in evaluating how managers make decisions and how consumers respond to those decisions. Also interested in healthcare policy research, particularly in assessing the role of the patient experience and managerial activity in the quality of care. Publishes research in marketing, management and health journals. Has served on the editorial boards of the Journal of Marketing Research, the Journal of Consumer Research and the Journal of Service Research. Former: Associate Editor, Journal of Consumer Research; Area Editor, Marketing Science. Teaching interests in management, marketing and strategy. Has taught core courses in all three areas.
