Mr. Xin Baoan owns a Master degree of Engineering in electric engineering from North China Electric Power University, and a Bachelor Degree from Xi’an Jiaotong University.
Deeply engaged in power sector for over 4 decades with rich management experience and technical background, he is serving as Chairman of Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization (GEIDCO), President of China Electricity Council (CEC).
Prior to his current role, he was successively appointed to several positions including Executive Chairman, President and Executive Vice President of State Grid Corporation of China, and Executive Vice President of China Huadian Corporation.
