Online Media Accreditation Now Open for Summit on the Global Agenda 2015

Geneva, Switzerland, 1 September 2015 – The World Economic Forum has opened media accreditation for the eighth Summit on the Global Agenda, which will take place at the Yas Marina Circuit, Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on 25-27 October 2015.

The Summit on the Global Agenda has been a unique partnership between the World Economic Forum and the United Arab Emirates since 2008. It is the annual gathering of the Network of Global Agenda Councils, which brings together over 1,000 thought leaders and influencers to assess critical global, regional and industry challenges. It is the world’s largest brainstorm, aiming to to provide comprehensive insight and recommendations on some of the most pressing global challenges.

This summit will provide councils the opportunity to showcase and contextualize their achievements since the beginning of the term. It will also give members of the media an opportunity to gain insight from world class experts and access cutting-edge research. In total, there are 86 Global Agenda Councils, including:

If you would like to cover the summit, please submit your accreditation request online at www.weforummedia.org. The deadline for media accreditation is Monday 12 October. Applications received after this deadline will not be accepted and no accreditation will be considered on site. All requests are subject to confirmation by the World Economic Forum.
