"Denmark has an ambitious agenda to promote public-private partnerships and has a lot to offer in terms of creating societies that are ready for the future in terms of sustainable growth, social cohesion and technological skills. We are delighted to team up with the World Economic Forum in order create concrete progress on these agendaes. To create better lives for more people and solve the urgent climate crisis we must build bridges across sectors, borders and old divisions," said Lars Løkke Rasmussen, Prime Minister of Denmark
“As well as representing a clear moral imperative, the Sustainable Development Goals also present undeniable market opportunities for responsible businesses. By joining forces with the Government of Denmark, this agreement provides a framework for cooperation that could lead to improvements in the quality of people’s lives in the near and long term, as we work to build resilient, inclusive and human-centric economies for the future,” said Borge Brende, President, Member of the Managing Board, World Economic Forum.
The World Economic Forum’s 48th Annual Meeting is taking place on 23-26 January 2018 in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland.
