Initiative X (Empowering Greek Startups)

Initiative X aims to address the lack of suitable policy solutions and innovation-friendly legislation / regulation in Greece, to help the Greek Startup Ecosystem flourish and grow. Through Initiative X, we hope to capture and amplify the voice of the Greek Startup community at a National level.

The project include mapping of the Greek startup community’s current needs and impact of Covid-19 via a qualitative research in order to provide customized solutions and act as advocates of the community to decision makers and stakeholders on a national level, by providing Policy Recommendations to the Greek Government.

In the short term, the project's goals include:

Mapping of the community’s needs and situation via qualitative research in order to provide customized solutions and act as advocates of the community to decision makers and stakeholders on a national level

Providing of policy recommendations and advocacy to the government and other relevant stakeholders in order to support the raising of the importance of the issue on a policy level

Monitoring the current situation and the trends of the ecosystem, as well as related policy 

In the long-term, the project aims to become a catalyst for the growth of Greece's startup ecosystem, by enabling access to the policymaking process and advocating for policy changes that will help the ecosystem flourish.
