Safer Schools

The Safer Schools Campaign is a public awareness campaign aimed at combating bullying and promoting adequate infrastructure to help promote quality education. In Nigeria, most students go to overcrowded schools, sometimes without roofs, doors, seats or black boards. They are also targets of bullying or personal harm as a result of lack of orientation on safe social interaction and personal safety procedures.

Port Harcourt Hub is implementing specialized training to promote student safety and orientation in schools and crowd-sourcing funds for schools with deficient infrastructure in Nigeria. The training programs have impacted more than 2,000 students and teachers and have galvanized far wider reach via social media channels.
