Smart Mobility

Traffic is one of the most significant challenges facing our city: not only are congested roads a strain on the environment, but also on our economy and overall quality of life. Shapers in the New Delhi Hub propose the development of centrally-controlled traffic signals to regulate the flow of traffic through smart technologies and sensors.Shapers aim not to create the technology, but to convene and incentivize smart transportation solutions through the Swiss Challenge Method. The hub wants to partner with local government officials to host an online challenge, where diverse citizens can submit proposals and bids, enabling decision-makers to identify the best technology and ultimately award a contract.
