It builds on the work of the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Lighthouse Programme, an annual effort to surface, highlight and scale impactful corporate initiatives, organized by the World Economic Forum’s Centre for the New Economy and Society.

The report provides a snapshot of the current diversity, equity and inclusion frontier and recent developments in the space, followed by detailed case studies of the 2025 cohort of Lighthouse initiatives selected by an expert panel on the basis of having achieved significant, quantifiable, sustained and scalable impact for one or multiple underrepresented groups. In addition, the report presents a set of “highlighted” initiatives, which contain promising or innovative design principles.
The aim is to equip leaders with cutting-edge insights to help focus efforts on what works best, and ultimately contribute to stronger business performance and competitiveness.
