Household and personal care products sector

Download the Nature Positive: Role of the Household and Personal Care Products Sector report

Household and personal care products are central to our daily lives and generate approximately $700 billion in annual revenues. However, this is sometimes at the expense of the environment – where activities can lead to land conversion and deforestation, water consumption and plastic pollution.

Developed in collaboration with Oliver Wyman, the Nature Positive: Role of the Household and Personal Care Products Sector report highlights the five priority actions businesses can take to contribute towards nature-positive, including water stewardship, responsible sourcing, behavioural change, nature conservation and circularity practices.

By prioritizing the actions promoted in the report, the industry stands to unlock over $60 billion per year in additional value by 2030 in a new nature-positive economy.
